Rev. Kenesha Blake-Newell is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church from the 16th Episcopal District, Jamaica Conference serving several congregations in the Jamaica Conference for the past six (6) years. As a pastoral minister and an educator by profession, Rev. Blake-Newell is passionate and dedicated in ministering to the spiritual and social needs of those she serves, as well as empowering young people. “I am first a child of God who loves the Lord with all my heart and desires to live for Him in every way possible.”
An educator for the past eleven (11) years serving in various capacities in the Jamaica Conference such as Board of Examiners, Conference Secretary and other boards, Rev. Blake-Newell holds an Executive Masters in Educational Management from The Mico University College, a Post-Graduate Teaching Diploma in History Education and Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Archaeology from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
